Embodied Voice, breath, and sound sessions for deep rest, regulation, and inner connection
These sessions offer a gentle and practical way to explore the voice, not for performance, but as a natural extension of the breath and a powerful tool for nervous system regulation, embodied support, and deep relaxation.
The sessions can be experienced both actively and passively — you may use your own voice, or simply lie down and receive.
Why work with the voice?
Embodied Voices sessions offer a soft, grounded space where voice, breath, touch, and silence come together to regulate, to release, to rest, and to return home to yourself.
These 1:1 sessions are designed for yoga practitioners, somatic explorers, and anyone longing for more softness, calm, and presence in daily life.
In addition to vocal and breath work, I also use gentle bodywork techniques, sound healing, and supported rest postures.
Your voice is deeply connected to your breath, body, and emotional landscape:
-
It soothes the nervous system (especially through vagus nerve stimulation)
-
It releases stored tension in the throat, jaw, and diaphragm
-
It supports a sense of grounded embodiment
-
It restores trust in your natural rhythm, sound, and expression
You don’t need any singing experience. Just a willingness to breathe, listen, and gently explore:
-
Breath and body awareness to arrive and settle
-
Gentle humming, toning, or voiced exhalation
-
Sound meditation using your own voice or singing bowls
-
Somatic inquiry (“Where do I hold my voice or tension?”)
-
Passive rest on a massage table, supported by voice, sound, or gentle touch
-
Deep rest postures from yoga (such as supported savasana or child’s pose)
-
Optional intuitive sounding, or a mantra if it resonates with you
Why take an Embodied Voice Session?
Your voice is more than sound — it's a reflection of your whole being.
The way you breathe, how you hold your body, and the tension in your muscles all shape your voice. And in return, your voice reveals how you feel, what you're holding, and how connected you are to yourself.
Stress, emotion, or trauma can create blockages — not just in your body, but in your ability to express and feel at ease. In an Embodied Voice session, we gently explore your voice as a doorway: to deeper breath, emotional release, and reconnection with your body and authentic self.
You don’t have to "know how to use your voice" — just a willingness to listen to it.
Why Embodied Voice Sessions?
Your voice is more than sound — it’s a reflection of your body, emotions, and inner world. In these sessions, we explore voice as a somatic practice: a way to release tension, reconnect with your breath, and express yourself with honesty and ease. You’ll be gently guided to use breath, movement, and sound to soften the body and regulate the nervous system. Vocal expression becomes a form of self-care and emotional release — not something to perform, but something to feel.
We create space to listen deeply: to your body, your voice, and the silence in between. As you explore, you may rediscover calm, presence, creative flow, and a more grounded connection to yourself.
No singing needed — just a willingness to listen and feel.
