A Sound Journey Lying Concert is an ancient meditative experience with roots in Tibet. The power of sound and vibration is one of the oldest healing tools in the world. Singing bowls are used globally for healing and meditation purposes. This form of therapy is based on the belief that energy vibrates in the body at different speeds.
I invite you to join me on a sound journey using singing bowls, chimes, a shamanic drum, and a soft and soothing voice. I use crystal singing bowls for this concert.
A sound journey — also known as a sound bath — is a meditative sound experience where participants “bathe” in waves of sound.
It is combined with guided meditation and breathwork, creating a deeply focused body practice aimed at deep relaxation.
The vibration of the singing bowls can have profound effects on both body and mind. The sounds of the bowls help to harmonize the cells through their frequencies, bringing body and mind back into balance. Singing bowls also positively affect brainwave frequencies, helping to shift them from the usual beta state (active thinking and stress) into alpha, theta, or delta states. These deeper brainwave states support relaxation, rejuvenation, and inner peace.
The vibration of crystal singing bowls, in particular, can profoundly affect the nervous system, supporting a deep return to balance and calm.
This Sound Bath concert is designed to bring you deep rest and help release deeply held tension in the body and mind. These sessions are for anyone seeking deep rest and relaxation, especially those dealing with chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, or sleep issues.
It is also possible to book a private Sound Bath session for yourself or a small group at a location of your choice. Sessions are custom-made and may include meditation, breathwork, voice, yoga, and deep relaxation exercises.
