Ballades of the East, an original musical piece by singer-songwriter Marina Trisic Martris, in collaboration with pianist Rudjer Glavurtic, is a world music story rooted in the Balkans, carried by piano and voice.
In Ballades of the East, Martris weaves her poetry, melodies, and words into a search for identity and deep connection — a connection that embraces her cultural roots while also questioning their boundaries, in pursuit of a universal truth and a shared sense of humanity.
